OEG was responsible for all power and data underground raceway and cable, incoming 35KV high voltage power, all 48-volt building power which consist of 5 triple ended 480-volt substations 185 1,200-amp distribution switch boards 225 208-volt branch panels fed by various transformers. Lighting for all manufacturing area, complete LSS, security, voice/data, AV and Instrument controls. OEG’s ISG group has a complete campus fiber loop for all low voltage systems. We were involved from the start to guide and control design costs and construction feasibility. Purchasing and tracking all instrumentation and control panels for the project was a big part of the job. This project had a complex redundant PLC / RIO network architecture with over 87 panels on the fiber network. We also managed all of the instrument impulse lines and IA needs. This project had over 3,700 I/O points to layout, install, terminate, and test. QA/QC and operational acceptance testing was also been managed by OEG on this project, which included start up and testing of all instrumentation for functionality from the instrument through the PLC and SCADA system.
