A new 5 story, state of the art 1.5MM sq/ft microchip manufacturing facility, located in Hillsboro, OR. To support the new chip plant or Fab, there is also a new PGE Sub-Station being constructed to deliver the necessary 35kV distribution as well as a new Central Utility Building, or CUB5. This building is two stories and 168,000 square feet. It houses twelve 3.5MW generators, as well as various other mechanical equipment, to deliver chilled water and other process liquids to the Fab. The Fab consists of a basement, utility level, sub-fab level, fab level, fan deck level, and roof. OEG is performing the following scopes of work: Fab electrical and telecom underground, electrical primary and branch distribution, lighting, grounding, multi-trade cable tray installation. CUB electrical and telecom underground, electrical primary and branch distribution, lighting, grounding, multi-trade cable tray installation, and telecom cabling. Site demo and utility relocation, design-assist, and other enabling work and temporary power as required.
