The OR-1 Data Center is the first of two planned COLO data center buildings located in Hillsboro, OR and both will be built from the ground up. OR-1 is a two-level building and consists of office space (PBB area) and eight data halls (suite spaces). OEG was responsible for the buildout of the PBB area, Suite 220, and Suite 240. Scope includes the installation of medium voltage power, distribution power, branch circuiting, fire alarm, security, and structured cabling. There are four data halls located on the second level (Suite 220, 240, 260, & 280) and four located on the first level (Suite 120, 140, 160, & 180). The office space is a total of 44,217 square feet with each data hall representing 65,175 square feet for a total data hall space of 521,400 square feet. Each data hall is supported by two CRAC Galleries that house the mechanical and HVAC equipment and four UPS rooms that house the electrical equipment. Each data hall will have 10 megawatts of power feeding it for a total capacity of 80 megawatts once all the data halls are built out.
