The DH2 expansion is the first 2.5MW capacity increase to their data center since it was completed in May of 2013. OEG provided complete electrical engineering services for the expansion, which included system power studies to increase rack capacities in specific areas, fault current and coordination studies, Neher-McGrath calculations, and lighting design services to upgrade the buildings lighting to an all LED system. OEG’s installation scope of work included a 2.5MW generator, (2) 1100 KVA UPS, all distribution equipment, VESDA system, VRLA battery monitoring system, and a power monitoring system.

The facility offers:

• Redundant 125KV utility power feeds
• 12.5 MW of critical power deliver in phases (currently offers 7.5 MW)
• Power densities available up to 400 watts per square foot.
• Overall facility size of 85,000 sq.ft. including office and support spaces
