The expansion and renovation of Providence Park stadium consisted of two separate phases completed over successive off-seasons to minimize disruption to the Portland Timber’s and Thorn’s match schedule. The expansion features three new levels on the stadium’s east side, adding more than 80,000 square feet, with a new cantilevered roof to shelter the new seating sections as well as the existing Key Club seating. Additional restrooms were added and new concessions spaces were built to accommodate the expanded list of restaurants for fans to enjoy. The project also included the renovation of the team store inside the stadium on the east concourse.
