About This Project

39400 Paseo Padre Pkwy has been the home to Kaiser for nearly two decades. Kaiser Fremont opened its doors in the fall of 2002 and serves nearly 90,000 members of the greater Fremont, Tri-City area, and Southern Alameda County. This project, spanning three buildings on the Kaiser campus, will replace the existing Siemens fire alarm system with a new notifier FA system. Construction of this OSHPD project will take place across seven phases and includes a new FA fiber loop, new fire alarm devices and equipment, excavation for communications between buildings, branch power to new FACP, and demolition of the old system. This project presents a unique challenge in that all construction activities will take place while the facilities continue to operate and host patients and staff. OEG will meet this challenge by providing the highest level of coordination and communication between all members of the construction team, Kaiser facility, and staff, to ensure that the health and safety of everyone entering the campus are never compromised.
